We have 3 lines of action:

We offer two community options:
The DISCOVER plan is entirely free and let's you get familiarized with the community and engage with others about issues that matter to you, even if you're just starting to learn about them.
The CHANGEMAKER plan gives you extra opportunities to get involved, engage with me (Alex), and decide what goes on in the community.

Having access to information isn't always enough to change how we live. Sometimes you have to get out and see it for yourself!
These short experiences – typically 2 to 4 hours – are meant to challenge the way you look at the World without having to leave the city.
We have been conditioned to forget how life actually works, where things come from, what is real and what humans have invented...
These experiences at the crossroads of culture, sciences, economy and geopolitics will help you unlearn and relearn how you perceive reality, while playing, discovering and making new friends.
Because traveling is more than swimming pools, margaritas & Instagram pictures...
No classroom or online course, will ever replace first-hand experience.
Each trip is a unique transformative experience designed to provide awe and deeper understanding of our natural world and our global society, while building life-lasting connections with a small group of carefully selected individuals (& myself).
We travel with intent to explore not only places, but also issues and the dynamics that shape them. Because they take place in real-life settings (not created for tourists), some moments on the trips will and should be unpredictable. This is when true learning happens.
I can't promise perfection, but this is what I can always offer:
I will always let you know where and how I got the information I share, and I will also tell you when I don't know the answer to a question. If I disagree, I will also let you know respectfully, and I invite you to do the same.
It is very likely that we will agree on many things, but if we don't, I will always encourage everyone to express their ideas and opinions. Everyone is different and nobody is perfect. As long as they respect others, all are welcome at Start Today!
What allows us to create change is our ability to communicate and work together. I don't have all the answers, and neither do you, but we all have useful pieces. As Aristotle said, The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Ethics are an essential aspect of this initiative and of my life. You can expect me to always do my best to stand and live by my values. Sometimes it's difficult to do everything the way you wish you could, but I will always try.
I understand that we live in an imperfect world. We can't always do everything perfectly either. But as long as we are willing to learn and make achievable positive changes everyday, we should feel at peace.
